∴For Photo Book Fans∴

Today’s newsletter is a simple recommendation of the website American Suburb X. The site is a catalogue of photo book reviews and artist interviews that began in 2008. 16 years later it is full of vital information for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with art and photography.

Although I find some of the writing on the site to be needlessly opaque, I’ve been introduced to a wealth of images, artists and books I would otherwise not have known. The site itself feels like it’s in a permanent beta-state, with Lorem ipsum cropping up on at least one page. But for all its scrappiness, it’s a delight that this database exists at all.
