Cheers Zachary~ I miss making these little photos stories, I think it’s something to work on this year.

So you're saying there's a Starbucks on a mountain summit / lookout purely to have a look at North Korea (with binoculars) ? And then I thought I heard a lot ... But yeah at least it makes for a good story 👍

Yeah it’s quite a thing. Korea loves Starbucks!

What a weird location for a Starbucks but what a great story too! My "asking for photographs" muscle has definitely atrophied, this is a welcome nudge to get back at it.

Cheers Diana~ I hardly do these little photo stories any more, a muscle of mine that could use a work out too.

I love stories that just start with "a friend asked if i wanted to get a coffee..." it's always a good ride. (see your post for example!)

Your view on all of this is as perfectly honest as you can get and I loved that. I would have definitely felt similarly, often getting similar feelings where I used to live in Vancouver where you’d see the pinnacle of excess in areas where people had the least of everything.

Looks like an amazing spot to observe North Korea. Thanks for sharing a bit of that feeling with us.

I've seen it from a few vantages here in SK, but this was definitely the most expansive.
